A big welcome back to GM-Curly. ETA on the CP situation, it's currently down, but you can register with the _M/_F method, simply start the client write your desired login name and add _M for a male account or _F for a female account at the end of your name then enter a password and log for the first time. For subsequent login remove the _M/_F.

GM Curly Resigning

Yes it is true, I am resigning from my duties as GameMaster in EarlyRO. This, however, means I won't ever be seen again, but seeing as I have been very inactive and lost mostly the will to play RO, don't expect me much. I've had a great time, been with Early since August 2009, making it a fun 7 months. I will be holding a parting event in one of the following days from now, a further time will be posted later on. For everyone who wants to say goodbye, you can either PM me or wait for the event. Yours truly, Curly
EarlyRO's 1 Year Anniversery is coming up !

As some of you guys may know, on this saturday (6th of March) EarlyRO has been officially open for exactly 1 year.
We are planning on holding some events, such as a 3vs3 PvP tournament, Hide n' Seek and more throughout the day.
However, we want suggestions on what kind of events YOU want to see. Also, if you want to be in the PvP tournament, don't forget to register your team in the 3vs3 PvP Tournament thread !
For those reading this post on the forum, ignore all the html tags, those are for the website since the news section there reads from this topic.
Regarding botting

I really didn't think I would need to say this but.. DO NOT PRETEND TO BE A BOT ! There's no guarantee that I will believe you when you say "I was just joking around". If you are unlucky, you will get banned anyway.

As seen in the title, the controlpanel is once again working. I'm not sure why it wouldn't work after I had fixed the download links, I haven't really changed anything since then. But now it's working so I don't need to think too deeply about that anymore.

The Europe mirrors are working again, sadly the controlpanel is still down but it will be up again shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused.

The Controlpanel will be down for a while, to register an account on the game server, use the "Name_M/F" method. This also includes the download links for Europe, they will also be unavailable for now.

Special Event - Treasure Hunt!

Only for this week! Ranging from Sunday 10/24/2009 till Sunday 10/31/2009! Largest Treasure Hunt EarlyRO has ever seen! Each time you complete this hunt, you will gain 1 Golden Token, except for the last sunday of the event!! Last day of this event, Each winner will get a whopping 1 million zeny alongside the Golden Token!! Don't expect to complete this quest a lot though! Here's the item list! 100 Blue Hair 100 Clock Hands 10 Elunium 200 Fluff 200 Jellopy 10 Fine Grit 100 Dragon Tail 300 Orc Fang 50 Nipper 2 Emperium Travelers of Rune-Midgard, If thou shalt complete this task, the reward shalt be grand, you are hereby all invited to hunt! There was some problems due to cheaters, we had to do a small rollback of items and zeny (not levels) and update the server to a later version to fix the security issue. There will be increased droprates for 2 weeks, 1 week of 8/8/10 and then another week of 7/7/7 before we go back to normal rates of 7/7/5. We're most sorry for the inconvenience. Be sure to talk to the Early Girl in Prontera, she will have a small apology gift for you.

New Hats!

Quests for hats were added recently and are unique to EarlyRO! Now you can get your hands on a Red Bonnet, Mystic Rose, Detective Cap, Winter Hat or even a shining Hat of the Sun God! That's not all, we've also introduced the "Hat of the Month" new feature, each month a new hat will be made available from the Early Girl NPC for the cost of 1 Golden Token and an existing headgear that the new hat synthesizes with. You can read more about both new features in the announcement section.

WOE Start

The War of Emperium, an anticipated aspect of any server, is coming real soon! The first WOE will happen on Saturday March 21st 2009! We already have a few guilds so it will be interesting to see! The war is scheduled to be from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM (EST GMT-5) and the opened castle is Prontera 1 (South-West in the castle map).
Server Opening

The server opened on March 6th 2009! The opening was really nice and we've hit over 40 players (no vend) in the first few days, thanks everyone for your continued support!

The forums are up, one of the first step in the creation of the server and a good way to make the community come together. Beta is about starts soon, we will make sure that everything is bug free for the official launch of the server (march 6th at 8 pm).
