Second WOE?
I've seen lotsa discussion about this in other threads, so i just wanna know what you would prefer.

Mentioned was also the time a second woe would take place. Some prefer it both on weekend, other want the second woe on a weekday. This matter will be discussed here too.

Also notice, i added the option of two open castles.

Please don't post stuff like "*quote*+/- 1". Also give reasons please, don't just state what you want. (just to prevent getting lotsa "tl;dr +opinion" posts later on D: )

Some values deduced from the poll(21.06 19:15 servertime):
83.33% want another WoE, or at least don't wanna keep WoE as it is
The preferances for a second WoE taking place on weekday or weekend are 10:15 so far
64% of those who want another WoE want it to happen in another castle independend from the existing WoE

<serious discussion> *disables smileys*no fun from this point!

j/k xD

RE: Second WOE?
i kinda vote for 2 woe / 2 castles open. lol i know people will disagree with this. I just feel like woe is just a rush fest and is pretty hard to "defend" back to back with 3 or 4 guilds coming in non stop. so I think 2 castles open is fair enough that way it will give a feeling on how RO really is..to defend and hold rather then a rush fest with 10000 guilds coming in back to back. Top of that, there is an on going war constantly in the pre emp room. So we truly are not trying to get to the emp, but we just keep running into fights with other guilds...

well thats my opinion

oh and i prefer 2 seperate castles... and 1 weekend and 1 weekday..or 2 castles open such as pront mid and pront left on a sat

and on a wed payon mid payon left .... (these are examples)

R.I.P tony - your work here is done

RE: Second WOE?
Weekday WoEs always destroy a server. :[

Its happened numerous times and its why the majority of servers stick with weekend WoEs.

No matter what you say, you can't get rid of the fact that weekday WoEs will have a lower chance of getting people capable of attending WoE. School and Work get in the way a whole lot more and it just kills things. Especially since our WoE attendance isn't some high 1~2k population like some servers might be. A decrease in WoE attendance at all is deadly to our WoEs.

I voted for 2 WoE days. I think, for now, we should just stick with 1 castle. I don't mind a 2nd castle, but I think 1 is ok for now. (Castle change might make it not so boring tho xD)

2 WoE days and both being in the same castle is an extremely bad idea. Its not fair to have it setup to where a guild will automatically have no way of even protecting their castle that they managed to win, one WoE, if they are forced to have to try to defend it on a different day. A guild might be able to play one day but are unable to attend the other day because it conflicts with school for the majority of their members. (example) There would be no room for investing. Who would invest in a castle when they know, no matter what, they will lose the castle?

My suggestion.
2 WoE days, Saturday = 2 castles, Sunday = 1 castle

This idea feels like it'd satisfy a bigger majority of people. There's still one day where we'll get the more intense, challenging battles over a single castle.

RE: Second WOE?
Voted for status quo.
Because population is too low to support 2 castles open during single WoE.
Because two WoEs during a weekend... Meh, I (and the majority of my friends, and I guess almost every single woe junkie over there) will still try to attend both WoEs and that's exhausting and pointless =\ (I know what you're going to say - "dont play it if you find it exhausting". But SOMEHOW I am pretty sure there will be the same faces and same guilds on both WoEs, and not really much difference since last time they fought, so why bother?)
And weekday WoE are not that good for the reasons Miyo mentioned.

RE: Second WOE?
@Miyo: I understand the point your making concerning weekday woes, but i don't think 2 Weekend woes would be any better, for example where i live woe is currently at 10pm, another date like that and i wont ever have a free evening on any weekend anymore.

Just noticed that two woe on the weekend in the same castle would hardly make any sense >_>

I really like this suggestion, except both woes being at the weekend for reasons i already mentioned. Wink
As i understand it, it would mean that three castles would be open, tripling the possible castledrops. This would have to be balanced out, for example by lowering the castle invest costs and the drop rate from treasure boxes.

@Miyo: No matter what you say, simply adding a WoE on a weekday will not decrease WoE attendance. Sorry. Illogical. Impossible. Error. lol

Also yeah... don't know if 2 castles open at the same time is a good idea. I'd think probably not yet. But still, 2 or more WoEs with one castle open seems good.

Two WoEs, different castles each time, one WoE on weekdays.

Completely selfish vote, since it'd work the best for me. Tongue

Adding a WoE on a weekday WILL decrease WoE attendance for THAT DAY.

You will not see an attendance that resembles the weekend WoE. Its been that way on EVERY server that has a weekday WoE. Larger population servers are capable of pulling off a decent WoE attendance for a weekday, but people still just complain and complain until things either change or the overall attitudes go down and people start leaving.

Think logically for a second. Chances of people being capable of attending a weekday WoE versus a weekend WoE are lower. So if there's a lower chance of attendance, then the weekday WoE would have a smaller population online for WoE than the amount online for the weekend WoE.

That's why there's this concept called Different WoE Times.

Saturday WoE can be later in the day while Sunday is earlier in the day.

You still have friday night. :]
Which is the most important night of the week.~
Who cares about saturday/sunday. lol
(and its only 1 hr Tongue )

RE: Second WOE?
@Doodle: thanks for editing, sorry to bother ^.^

@Miyo: For one WoE day weekend is clearly the better date, for the reasons you stated, but we're talking about a second day here, with one WoE already being at the weekend. To me this is a too rapid succession between WoE days. It makes having the WoEs in the same castle impossible too, cause the guild that won the castle on saturday might lose it on sunday again.

btw if we had woe late on saturday and early on sunday i'd never get any sleep that night again haha ;D
